Assets
How to asset model 1: assign asset by quantity
Use Assign asset by quantity when each booking consumes a fixed number of physical assets from a shared pool. In this model, the Total assets field is the number of units you own, and Assets required per booking is how many units one booking consumes. This is best for cases where each reservation takes whole assets rather than seats inside an asset.

- Example: you own 8 kayaks and each booking uses 2 kayaks. Total assets = 8 and Assets required per booking = 2, so four qualifying bookings can run at once.
- Example: you have 3 escape rooms and each booking occupies 1 room. Total assets = 3 and Assets required per booking = 1.
- The system will not let Assets required per booking exceed Total assets.
- Capacity available is not the main control in this model because the asset is treated as a countable resource pool.
Tips
- Use quantity-based allocation for whole-resource usage and capacity-based allocation for seat or spot usage.
- Turn on individual unit tracking only when the team truly needs unit-level operational visibility.
- Use clear unit names that match your real-world labels so handoff at the venue is immediate.
